Carver Elementary is Neosho’s newest school. It was completed in December of 2007. We are located on Norway Rd/Old 60 just west of Neosho Middle School on the north side of the road.

Students and staff began classes in the building on January 3, 2008. We have approximately 500 students and 50 staff members. Carver Elementary faculty and staff are committed to creating a tradition of academic success. Our mission is to create excellence in a caring environment. Second, third and fourth grade classrooms all have smart boards in the rooms. All third grade classrooms and two fourth grade classrooms are e-mints rooms. This means there is a flat screen computer for every two students to share. The building has a library large enough to have two separate instructional areas along with an automated card catalog. It adjoins the 30 station computer lab. We have our cafeteria separate from the gymnasium. Kindergarten has its own gated playground area away from the first through fourth grade playground.

We look forward to building a PTO that will work together to help the Carver students, parents, and teachers.

This is an excellent facility we are all very proud of and we look forward to getting settled in and creating an excellent atmosphere for the parents, students and staff.
