Week of Sept. 30th
Class Objectives: Following teacher instruction and demonstration, the student will be able to understand the different concepts of fitness, wellness, and health as they are related to the human body system through the exploration of multiple sports and activities. Students will perform/stay on task to the best of their ability, following all directions, and RESPECT all the teachers, classmates, and facilities/equipment. MAKE-UP WORK POLICY: - ALL absences, including school excused, will need to be made up. Failure to do so will negatively impact the student's grade. - Make-up work is offered before and after school at the decretion of the coach. Students must be accompanied by a coach in order for their make-up to count. Students must schedule a time. - ONE make-up day consist of the following options: Opt. 1: 100 push-ups, 100 sit-ups, and 1 "500" (jogging the bleachers) Opt. 2: 30 min. of continuous physical activity.
