- Today we are going to work with some ‘academic’ vocabulary. Yesterday we worked with common words that you might read or hear anywhere. Academic vocabulary is words that are used in school with learning and analyzing. Write academic vocabulary in personal dictionary. What words can we define without looking them up?, five minutes, do one with concept map
- Finish story with imbedded drawing conclusions questions in journal, use review question one as exit ticket

- Students will answer in writing the final three review questions, putting their individual answers on a note card, the students will do an inside outside circle to share their answers, collect as exit slip for grade
