Benton Elementary School Art Teacher - Ms. Sarah Gartin
Sarah Gartin is an Art Teacher at Benton Elementary. She has been a great asset to our school district and really shows her dedication to us and the entire city of Neosho. Here are some accomplishments of hers since she started with The Neosho R-5 School District.
- Teaches Art at Benton Elementary
- Her student won GRAND PRIZE in the Audubon Earth Day Art Contest. Art work was featured on billboard in Joplin.
- Presented a workshop on Stained Glass at the MO Art Education State Conference.
- Served as Professional Development Chair for this district.
- Tutored student in reading; Scores went from a 1.0 to a 2.4 in one year!!
- Attained certification as a foster parent.
