The Wildcat Connection

At the Neosho R-5 School District, we are dedicated to providing a successful learning environment for our students.  One way we feel this is accomplished, actually happens outside the walls of the school buildings.  It actually has to do with the community and their connection with the school district! 

We are looking for new avenues through which to promote school and student accomplishments, and create a sense of school pride in our community.  The support of local businesses can create a "Wildcat Connection" between community members and our wonderful school district!  The first step we would like to take in this direction is to ask area businesses if they have an electronic marquee or changeable sign in front of their buildings.  If so, would they be willing to periodically post congratulatory messages on those signs, throughout the school year, of accomplishments made by students, faculty members, and sports teams and activities.

On a monthly basis, we create and distribute to school staff a school district newsletter called "The Wildcat Connection".  This newsletter provides information on our schools, students, staff, and community.  To view current and archived editions of this newsletter, click the links below.
